I am a 16 year old Junior at Patuxent Hish School in Lusby, Maryland. I do not have AIDS or HIV.

The first time I heard about Ryan White was in 1993.

http://www.geocities.com/SoHo/Exhibit/8222/rwtest.htm
We began a series of court battles for nine months, while I was attending classes by telephone. Eventually, I won the right to attend school, but the prejudice was still there. Listening to medical facts was not enough. People wanted one hundred percent guarantees. There are no one hundred percent guarantees in life, but concessions were made by Mom and me to help ease the fear. We decided to meet them halfway:

Separate restrooms
No gym
Separate drinking fountains
Disposable eating utensils and trays

Even though we knew AIDS was not spread through casual contact. Nevertheless, parents of twenty students started their own school. They were still not convinced. Because of the lack of education on AIDS, discrimination, fear, panic, and lies surrounded me:

I became the target of Ryan White jokes
Lies about me bitting people
Spitting on vegetables and cookies
Urinating on bathroom walls
Some restaurants threw away my dishes
My school locker was vandalized inside and folders were marked FAG and other obscenities
I was labeled a troublemaker, my mom an unfit mother, and I was not welcome anywhere. People would get up and leave so they would not have to sit anywhere near me. For example, if a pessimist got a ticket for speeding, they might view
this one episode as a major failure:

Personal: I’m stupid; I’m not good at driving. Why do I always go too fast?
Pervasive: I’m horrible at all aspects of driving. I’m bad at parking and signaling too.
Permanent: I’ll always fail to obey the speed limit and I will problem lose my license one day, perhaps forever.

A more optimistic view would include the following:

Not Personal: The speed limit sign was not well posted and anyone could have made this
simple mistake of going 10 miles over.

Not Pervasive: I am a safe, careful driver in most situations. Perhaps I did make
big mistake this time; however, it does not impact other parts of my life.

Not Permanent: This is my first ticket and I can make sure I that I am more careful
about going slower in the future.

Free mp3
http://ipopin.typepad.com/I_choose_to_create_a_great_day.mp3

I choose to create a great day
I am in great shape and love my body
I have what it takes
Each day and in every way I feel better and better
I succeed in all I do

http://www.intime.uni.edu/video/023mile/2/default.htm

Power Point

(Myoma Uteri)

Dr. Christiane Northrup,M.D. Fibroid

Caroline Myss, Ph.D., teaches that fibroid tumors represent our creativity that has never been birthed. Fibroids may also result when we are flowing life energy into dead end jobs or relationships we have outgrown. Fibroids are often associated with conflicts about creativity, reproduction, and relationships.

If you have fibroids, ask yourself the following questions: What are the creations within me that I want to put out in the world before I no longer here? If anything at all were possible, what would my life look like? If I had six months to live, what relationships would I release from my life immediately? What relationships would I give more of my time and attention to? What relationships truly feed and nourish me? Which ones drain my energy? Write your answers in a journal. Discuss them with supportive friends. Deep within you, you have all the answers you need. You just need to be open to hearing them.

http://www.drnorthrup.com/womenshealth/healthcenter/topic_details.php?topic_id=64

http://www.wheelsoflight.org/custom/index.cfm?ID=106473

http://fibroidtumorshealednaturally.com/wst_page6.html

Fibroid Tumors Healed Naturally

It is to be noted here that some new popular approaches, although a step in the right direction in that a woman gets to keep her uterus, are too new to be assessed as to the long term effect on a woman body. Women proceed with wisdom and caution when making your decisions concerning your body. Trust your own wisdom and get a good doctor willing to listen and work with you.

Hysterectomy is the number one surgery traditionally performed in the USA (and some other countries, too) for women with fibroids. A hysterectomy is the removal of a woman uterus (womb), along with different variations of whether or not the ovaries (hormonal related), cervix (lower, narrow portion/neck of the uterus that extends into the vagina) and other tissue around the pelvic (supporting structure of organs of the lower abdomen/stomach) area, fallopian tubes (tubes that connect ovaries to the uterus) and a portion of the vagina will be removed, too. Once a woman has a hysterectomy, although the fibroids in her uterus (the uterus itself is gone) and, thereby, the symptoms are gone, she loses her capacity to have children. Also, there are some reports of women losing their sexual desire; irritating, drying of the vagina area (painful sex); night sweats, etc. due to no more hormones (estrogen and progesterone), i. e. a woman could go immediately into menopause. This applies to certain types of hysterectomies. The various types are discussed in this chapter along with other methods, including myomectomy in which a woman keeps her uterus, but the fibroid(s) is cut out.

Even when fibroids are removed, they can, and often do, grow back. This is why the root cause of the problem must be addressed.

It's the big day!!! We've been practicing pretty much nonstop over the past week, I haven't hardly
had time to breath much less blog. I am pretty excited for tonight, and I bet you are too.
But I hope you will keep a few things in mind.

1. First and four most, look at who the moderator is: GWEN AWFUL! Okay actually her name is
Eiffel, but you'll see why I gave her that nickname in a second. It turns out that she is writing a
book and it's about OBAMA. So we know she is going to be bias tonight. It's pretty much like
reverse racism, although not exactly (Obama and Eiffel are both black).

2. Remember that what you see tonight is not the "final product"! Even after this debate
there is almost a month until the election, and then almost two more before John and I are sworn in!
Think about how far I have come in just one month, I should be 3x as good by inauguration!
So if you hear one of my answers and find yourself thinking "hmm, that answer was just okay"
try to imagine if it was THREE TIMES BETTER, because it will be.

3. Is Joe Biden going to be sexist? I can't say for sure yet but if he is it will be unfair.

4. To be honest I have not been feeling well today, I am going to buy some headache powder
and see how things go but I may not be 100%.

So just keep all this in mind, but overall I am really feeling good about the debate
(Todd says he is "stoked", he might try to live blog it again like with my speech).
Ask any of my old debate opponents, they will tell you I have a few tricks up my sleeve!
And also even though the moderator is Gwen Awful, I think there will probably be fewer impossible
"gotcha" like asking me to name newspapers or old Supreme Court cases. The American People
wouldn't stand for it.

Caps for Sale --

http://www.plcmc.org/bookhive/zingertales/default.asp?storyid=32

http://www.plcmc.org/bookhive/zingertales/zingertales.asp#Doc%20McConnell

About Frontline StoryTellers

The Frontline Storytellers are a newly-formed group of PLCMC employees committed to bringing storytelling to everyone. type='text'>Free/Pleasure Reading -- 黃希敏教授的英語學習 Tips

‧胡亂搭配字詞，如 “*to learn knowledge" (正確為to gain/absorb/acquire knowledge); “*to learn information” (正確為to get/obtain/receive information)。

<img width='1' height='1' ERP）。
